JNU Entrance Exam Admit Card Releases (2013-2014):

1.      Open JNU official Website http://www.jnu.ac.in/
3.    Type your 6 digital application form no
4.    print your admit card
In case you forgot Application no:
·         Click the button “forgot Application no”
·         Type your name with correct spelling and date of birth on the format DD/MM/YY in the prescribed columns
·         Make sure it’s your Admit Card and Print it.

On the day of examination:
·         You should carry your admit card fixed with a latest passport size photo in to exam hall

What to do if you face any problem to download Admit Card?
v  If you face any problem or you are unable to download Admit Card come to your exam center a little bit early.
v   A university representative shall be available at exam center
v  Get touch with him before commencement of exam
v  Those students whose names appear in roll list available with the JNU representative shall be allowed to appear for entrance.






Summer School 2013
27th May 2013 to 28th June 2013
The School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University is organizing Summer School under the UGC Resource Network Programme. Applications are invited from students pursuing graduate or post-graduate studies in any branch of science or technology (B.Sc., B.Tech., M.Sc., M.Tech., M.B.B.S., BE) for participation in this Summer Research programme being conducted from 27th May, 2013 to 28th June, 2013 at the School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University. The objective of this programme is to motivate and stimulate young and creative minds to pursue a career in science.
The summer school includes talks from experts in the field of modern biological sciences and hands-on experiments. Each participant will be assigned to a mentor and his/her laboratory in the School of Life Sciences for pursuing research.
Application Procedure: Application on plain paper forwarded by respective Head of the Department along with the curriculum-vitae and a one page write-up on what interests you in science is mandatory. The complete application with e-mail ID and contact number should reach the office of the Dean, School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi – 110 067, latest by 30th April 2013.
• Preferences will be given to the first year M.Sc. and Second year B.Sc. students. 
• Selection will be done on the basis of merit and candidates from remote areas will be given preference.
• It is mandatory to attend the programme for the entire duration.
Travel grants: Selected candidates joining from outside Delhi will be provided with non-AC sleeper class train fare and accommodation.
NOTE: Only the selected candidates will be informed via e-mail/JNU Website by 07th May 2013. 



Direct Ph.D for Winter Semester:
·          Course begins in January 2014
·         Application form: will be available from Sept 2 to Oct 14 (2013).
·         Last date for submission of application forms: 14 Oct (2013)
N.B: Application time is over for all other courses including B.A .,M.A ,M.phil by 28th March 2013,and direct Ph.D for monsoon semester by 15th January.
